Qualifications:
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy
- National Certificate in Beauty Services (Beautician) (Level 4)
- National Certificate in Beauty Services (Body Therapy) (Level 5)
Entry Requirements:
All applicants must have completed a minimum of 3 years at secondary education level. Domestic applicants must be at least 16 years of age. International applicants must also have a standard of English language of IELTS 5.0, or equivalent. International students must be 18 years of age or over and have a student permit to study the course at Ellipse Institute.

- merchandising and selling beauty products
- prescribing service in a professional manner
- providing methods and sound advice, consultation and counsel clients in facial treatments
- chemistry in the application of beauty services
- anatomy and physiology
- body functions and systems
- massage principles and techniques
- nutrition principles
- operating a small business as an independent operator
- understanding the laws, regulations, Acts and professional associations governing the profession
- and to provide a recognized qualification
