Entry Requirements:
Domestic applicants must be at least 16 years of age and must have completed a minimum of 3 years at secondary education level. International applicants must also have a standard of English language of IELTS 5.0, or equivalent. International students must be 18 years of age or over and have a student permit to study the course at Ellipse Institute.
Aim of the Course:
The course aims to provide knowledge and skills in:
- managing and protecting health and safety in the workplace
- merchandising and selling beauty products
- prescribing service in a professional manner
- providing consultation service in beauty therapy treatments
- performing beauty therapy services in a professional manner
- operating a small business as an independent operator
- understanding the laws, regulations, Acts and professional associations governing the profession
- and to provide a recognized qualification
